Mark was born into a showjumping family and was trained from an early age by his uncle 'Ted Williams' famous world wide for his partnership with 'Pegasus' who to this day still holds the record for winning the three major Grand Prix in America, namely, Harrisburg, Toronto and New York all on the one trip. He was also the first show-jumping rider in this country to turn professional.

Mark himself has ridden at international level and now concentrates on producing top class novice horses, which are mainly selected from Europe, many of which have gone on to jump at the top nationally and internationally.

Many top riders, including Malcolm Pyrah, Robert Smith and Vangeenburge having, in the past, bought horses from Mark.

He also sells a lot of young horses to compete in Dressage and Eventing, including top event and dressage riders such as Karen Dixon.
